  1. All markers must be adjusted to fire 285 fps or less to be allowed on field.

  2. Full-Auto and Burst fire not allowed.  Set E-Triggers to semi-auto, turn response triggers down.

  3. Blind Fire is not allowed.  Do not shoot where you cannot see.  Talk to a staff member for more information.

  4. Rentals use field paint only

  5. Barrel Bags must be readily available while on the field.

  1. You may request paintchecks.  If you think you may have been hit in a place you can not see, call for a paintcheck and a ref will see if you're hit.  You may also request a ref to check an opposing player you think you may have marked.  Be prepared to give the ref your opponents location, refs will not act as pointer dogs.
  2. Paintchecks do not stop the action.  If you call a paintcheck on an opposing player, as a courtesy you may wish to stop firing at him or her.  If you call for a paintcheck on yourself, your opponents are not required to stop shooting at you until you call yourself out or are called out by a ref.
  3. Do not intentionally fire on a ref.
  4. Do not argue with the ref.  Exit the field and voice your concern with a member of staff off the field.

  1. Paint in mass the size of a quarter or more constitutes a hit.

  2. The signs of a marked player / calling yourself out:  Yell 'Hit', 'Out', or 'You got me', and or raise your marker above your head.  Apply your barrel plug or bag and exit the field whilst keeping your marker in the air.

  3. Three Hit Rule.  If a player is marked three or more times, he may call the player out who did the marking.  Ask a ref for assistance in this situation.  Note:  This rule does not apply to speedball.

  4. Bounces do not count - unless you call it.  If you ever mistakenly call yourself out, you must exit the field, regardless if you find out later it was only a bounce.

  5. Gun hits do not count - except whilst playing Speedball.  Pod, shoe, or any other body, limb, or head hits and you're out.

  1. Dead Men Don't Talk.  You are not to give information, warnings, or signals to either team after you have been marked.

  2. 'Walk with the Dead, catch their disease'.  Active players are not to walk with or use as shields people who are out.  You will be called off the field for this.

  3. The Living Dead Man Walk:  Active players may at times attempt to play dead via the dead mans' walk.  This is legal, but only under these guidelines.  A)  Player may not apply barrel plug or bag to marker.  B)  Player may not raise marker above head.  C)  Player may not lie to opposing team if questioned directly about team affiliation.

  1. Give players a chance to surrender.  If you find yourself close in to an opponent and have him or her by surprise, give them the option to surrender by calling 'SURRENDER!'  Tip:  Players are not required to surrender.  Be prepared to fire if they choose not to accept.

  2. Conditional Bunkering:  Successful bunkering is not especially common, but can happen.  Good sportsmanship is required for bunkering to continue at ForestFire Paintball.  Use your best judgment in the maneuver, avoid bunkering younger and or clearly less experienced players.  The three hit rule applies here, so be calm in your marking.  If in doubt, ask a ref.
